Skylar Rose

I attended The Chicago Academy For The Arts for both my Freshman and Sophomore year in H.S. I began playing piano at age 5. For reasons unknown to this day, I became obsessed with learning to play the harp and began formal training at age 8. I also study as a jazz vocalist, but enjoy performing many different genres of music.

Orchestra

When weeks of practice pays off by filling the room with beautiful chamber music, it's pure delight. Being able to play with some of Chicagoland's most talented musicians has been an amazing experience. I was a two-year member of the Naperville Youth Symphony Orchestra (NYSO), led by music director Kimberlie Richter, as well as the Youth Symphony of Dupage, led by Dr Mark Liu.
